Открытый урок по английскому языку в 6 классе на тему: An Englishman'shome is his castle к учебнику Биболетовой В.




Цели: - активизация навыков аудирования;


- совершенствование навыков чтения, монологической и диалогической речи.


Задачи: - учить на слух понимать информацию, передаваемую с помощью   несложного текста;


- совершенствовать умение выразительно читать вслух.




Ход урока

1. Организационный момент


-         Good morning, boys and girls! I’ m very glad to see you today. But today we have some guests. Let’s greeting .


-         How are you today, children? Wtat’s your mood today?


2. Фонетическая зарядка.


1)    Let’ s read the tongue – twister about Bobby Bippy. (Слайд №1)




Bobby Bippy bought a bat,


Bobby Bippy bought a ball.


With his bat he banged the ball


Banged it bump against the wall.


But so boldly Bobby banged it


With the burst his rubber ball,


“Boo!”-cried Bobby


Bad luck ball.


Bad luck Bobby, bad luck ball.


Now to drown his many troubles


Bobby Bippy blowing bubbles!




2)    Before our work let’s read, try to understand and remember some words which may be difficult for you and which you may use in your work.


a)     Match the words with their transcriptions:


Area                        [ ‘ga: dn]

Lane                        [ki:]


Yard                        [‘ka:sl]

b)    Repeat all these words after me. All together.


c)     WB: p. 67, ex. 40

3. Сообщение темы урока.


Today we’ll discuss English houses and decide if an Englishman’s home is his castle.


Your home task was to find the proverbs about the home. Who is ready?


1)    East or West, home is best. (В гостях хорошо, а дома лучше.)


2)    An Englishman’s home is his castle.(Мой дом - моя крепость.)


3)    Every bird likes its own nest best. (Всяк кулик свое болото хвалит.)


4)    There is no places like home. (В гостях хорошо, а дома лучше)


4. Активизация навыков аудирования.


I want you to listen to the dialogue. Find out where the man lives.


Ex. 44, page 136. (Учащиеся слушают 1-ую часть диалога).


Answer my question, please.


  • What do you think which of the houses Mr. Philott lives in?

To my mind…


In my opinion… etc.


5.Совершенствование навыков чтения и аудирования.


Let’s continue listening to the dialogue and compare our drscriptions with Mr. Philott’s description. (Ex. 46, p. 136)


(Учащиеся слушают 2-ую часть диалога)


  • Answer my questions: (Слайд №8)
  • 1. Does Mr. Philott live in a big house?
  • 2. How many rooms has he got?
  • 3. Has his family got a garden?
  • 4. What can you see near his house?
  • 5. Why is this area popular with tourists?




- And now make up the questions from the words:

Let’s work in pairs. Ex. 48, p.137


Interview your partner about his/her house.


  • What kind of a house do you live in?
  • Do you have a garden?
  • What kind of neighbourhood is it?


7. Подведение итогов.


I’ m very proud of you. You showed good knowledge today. Thank you for your active work at the lesson.


8. Домашнее задание.


1)    At home you must describe your house.


2)    Ex. 40,41, p. 67 (WB)
